Disneyland (last month) was fun and I found this awesome mickey hat ouside my toad car on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. It said Kelvin on the back. Poor little Kelvin lost his hat, but I sure liked it. We drank beer and went on rides, that was very excellent. We saved the river rafting ride till the very end and wanted to get SOAKED and then slosh home, only after the first time on it they wanted us to go all the way up and around to the entrance of the ride even though there wasn't a single person in line but us. They were dumb so we left barely sloshing. Oh, and then as we were walking out we saw that Motorhead was playing right then but they were sold out. That was a bummer. The next day we went swimming and andnowmiguel scraped the bridge of his nose on the bottom of the pool when we were having a coasting contest. He still has a scar, I like it.

I finished reading the Shipping News. I really, really liked it a lot. The movie is also really good which I just watched today. Miguel and I slept til noon and I woke up with a pounding headache from glasses and glasses of champagne I drank at the cast and crew party for a short film we are working on called Stalkers, Strippers and Moms. Have I mentioned that? I don't think so...anyway Miguel is the DP and I am shooting stills. I did have a lead role but decided against playing it after I thought about it and realized that it just wasn't for me...there was an implied rape scene that I didn't want to have anything to do with. Bad energy to internalize and carry around with me. So I am still going to be in a couple of scenes as a burlesque dancer, which will be really fun. Plus I really like to shoot photos and it will be fun to work with the crew and be on the other side of things.

The next morning........

Last night I dreamt that I was on the roof of this really tall city skyscraper working construction with many other men. We had very long lengths of rope that we had to secure to O rings all the way down the sides of the building, without safetly harnesses. For some reason though I kept finding myself at the top of the building again after a knot was secured and would have to slide and foothold my way back down to the next knot. Suddenly, I was overcome with fear of heights that totally immobilized me from working and couldn't get over it. Looking over the edge, I was incredulous that I had been doing it at all. I had to report to the site supervisor who was a woman and she gave me some rope exercises to work on but in my head I was panicking because I knew she was going to send me back down. As I was working a chubby guy walked up to me and asked me to audition for his play as The Cleaner Agnis. He seemed pretty excited about it, like I was the one. So I signed his little paper and drew a fat lady with crazy hair standing up on all it's ends, with an opened mouth smile and a huge blown bubble of gum inside her mouth next to it. I showed up at the audition and read my lines and made everybody laugh with my rendition of Agnis screaming, "Ka boom! Ka BOOOOOM! Ka Boom!!!!' And I got the part.
