This weekend just kept going...man I saw so many people on Friday night that I haven't seen in years. That was pretty great, not to mention that In Haste rocked it. The night turned all crazy later and Drea and I found ourselved at Tanya's at 3am laying around all wiped out trying to get into this movie they really liked called Saved. It bugged the hell out of me. Wow, t/v is so hideous and for some reason at one point we sat dazed and helpless under the barage of face after face of repulsive, enthusiastic diplomats and sitcom retards...we just kept watchin. Hard core. Eeeeesh! Until we picked our sorry asses up and out of there at 6am.
Saturday night found Brioooooo,me , miguel, Eriko, Flea, Jelly and Asa out on Brioooo's super spectacular old wooden boat...6pm, the night just beginning, the sky clear, the bar stocked and playa style music playin on a great system. It was the coolest boating experience ever. really. The sky turned dark, all the shipyard lights and marina smells mixing into our good vibes...me in my fancy vintage rabbit fur jacket...all of us in our most unusual finery Rockin. Literally And we remembered that Sammy lives on his houseboat just as we were passing it's general vicinity so we kidnapped his beloved crazy ass and continued on to the Locks. It was such a surreal experience, I sounded liked a tripped out hippie on her maiden boat voyage but that boat ride was all sorts of different. Anyway, in the Locks they closed it off in front and in back of us, where we waited for a couple of minutes, time enough for me to fully trip on the happy prison boat fantasy that was playing out in front of our eyes. Our boat was surrounded by these super tall walls extending like 25ft up, with these super stoic 'guards' looking down on us on both sides and their dog running the perimeter. Funny guys, they hardly cracked a smile. I hope they weren't too old or too serious to remember how to have a good time, cause that would really suck. *****************Bulletin to everyone, good energy is free, when you see it, pick it up. So anyway,the lock opens in to this beautiful night with light rippling on glassy smooth water that is covered with these fluffy little tufts of while foam. Anticartica. Glaciers. We were making our way through the treacherous glacial waters...so cool.
The huge ships, ferry's and freighters in dry dock blew me away. Mammoth and incredible when you see their full structure. sexy. We motored around the Sound in Lake Union checking out cool shit. The huge cranes that line the shipping yards look like huge robo giraffes to me from a distance and up close make me feel like I'm in some rad futuristc combat zone.
Since it is still cold here, we were pretty much the only boat crusing around. The city was all lit up, the Space Needle right in front of us, out a ways yet completely out in the middle of nowhere all at the same time.

Later we docked the boat, went to a party, bought 14 doughnuts, drank more beer, gave a lot of kisses and rounded up our crew when 3 people kicked out Miguel for 'pulling a knife on somebody' which was just Miguel pulling out his knife and switching it open. We do these things. If you were carrying around I'd look at yours too. We don't go to parties and threaten people with weapons!!! This guy was trying to say that nobody should carry a knife. What a sissy.
