Got lot of great books for christmas and spent a fun morning watching Flea open her presents. She was intruiged by office supplies this year, especially tape and white out- the heck with toys!

We now own a book called Why Cats Paint and a calendar called Why Paint Cats?. Funny. Miguel and I also got a beautiful hand woven Alpaca blanket from his mom. It is incredibly soft and beautiful. She is an artist who lives iin New Mexico and makes her living weaving, which she shows and sells in galleries.

Our Grand Canyon river rafting trip is coming up in April. Miguel's dad has had his name in for a river permit for nearly 14 years and his time is here. We are 2 of 16 people he was allowed to invite. Nice! So his parents sent us some great gear for christmas....dry bags, a technical jacket for Miguel, fleece pants and an amazing mid layer pullover for me. April is going to be here before we know it. Our trip is scheduled for April 16th to May 4th!!! Dreamy, don't ya think?! The Grand Canyon, day in and day out on the water, our muscles workin' and breathing fresh air every day for 3 weeks!!! Yeah!

Miguel and I have a shoot with Phantom Choppers Tuesday. Sexy bikes...check it out. The layout will soon be seen in Make and Model Magazine, so keep you eye out for it.

Spent x-mas eve with all my brothers and my sister and parents and nieces. My family rules and is huge. We gave my dad a pic of all of us kids and our families, which was craziness to coordinate for 14 of us. My brother Brandon is a punk and missed it but the pictures turned out all right and made us laiugh. I also framed up a bunch of the old pics that I posted in my journal of our childhood. They really loved them, especially because they had never seen 'em. Thanks again Howard for that scanner...and book too!

And to top it all off, SG headquarters sent me a sweet little silver SG pendent which I love.
