I'm obsolete. A candidate for the scrap heap. I'm a reluctant Luddite. Technology is so seductive, a beautiful partner who will do anything and everything you want with little effort on your part, no knowledge required, no ability to learn either except to follow directions and push the right buttons on command.
So why hasn't photography made a quantum leap in QUALITY?!!!??????

Well, I've failed to quit smoking three times in the past two years, but I'm going to try again. Anybody got good ideas for getting through the first several days? That first week is the worst for me, probably for everybody; days One and Two are the hardest for me, simply to get started without immediately Jonesing for a butt.
