A little about me

Some of you may have know already but others this may be news to you, but I'm a southerner. Born in the south of the United States, in the great state of Texas. In the north eastern part of Texas the land is heavily wooded with pine trees. So I was born and lived in the deep backwoods in the south. Country boy and redneck were words I was proud to hear when people described me. Hunting and fishing were normal because stores were too far away when compared to the food that walked through the back yard.

That being said, yes I'm a trueborn Texan and yes I rode horses. I tended the critters (cattle, chicken, hogs, goats, turkey) as a morning chore. Yes I grew up on Football and the pride of my home state as well as hometown. That's how southern folks are raised.

Now fast forward to my trouble years, when I left my home and ended in Louisiana. The land of gators, bayous, and Cajuns but north western Louisiana is not much different from my home town. Except for this small city that I live in! That was a culture shock to go from backwoods and hunting my food to suburbs and 24 hour Walmart.

I now it may seem like I'm ranting so I'll get to the point. I'm proud to be a southerner, redneck, country boy. I'm proud to have my hunting knives, rifle, bow and arrows, and drive my truck. I love wearing camo, boots, and wrangler jeans. Most importantly I'm proud of the family that made me that way! From my dad teaching me to fish, to my mom telling me the history of the south.

My mother, sisters, and younger brother. This was taken almost four years ago.
