When I am out and about and unable to get online, I think of a kajillion things to write about.

And when I can get on SG I lose it all.

Hopefully the end of the month will bring reliable internet access at home again.

It's like going into a music shop and immediately forgetting what you came to buy. Not that anyone actually goes into music shops anymore.

But without a phone number, how are we supposed to call the Queen of Cheese when we have creamcheese-related questions?

How to explain to the woman you babysit for what SuicideGirls is

So, I'm over at the house where I watch the 3 year old. Her mother is getting ready and we're chit chatting, as we do.

"Hey, do you know SuicideGirls?"

"Yeah. I know the site very well. Why? Did you meet someone from the site?"

"I was telling my friend Jen about your...

Ah, that's a tough one. My mother and I didn't speak for about 2 years prior to this spring, but we had broken that ice in March around my grandmother's (her mother's) passing, and since then had gotten together a couple of times for an hour or two to just hang.

She had just met Sophie, and even had a recent friendly conversation with my father (the first in 4 years). She retired in October, and had the means and the time to do what she wanted with the next phase of her life (she was 62). We all felt that she'd turned the corner on some emotional issues and was actually getting happy, when bam. She died in her sleep 3 weeks ago.

I don't know about you, but for me, despite her difficult personality she was still my mother and I loved her very much-- that's what made it so hard to be around her when she took such poor care of herself. Now that she's gone, of course I wish that I'd had this perspective when she was here. I know it's a cliche, but it's what I want.

The good:

Car is working. They replaced the map sensor. I still need engine coils replaced, which will run me about another $250 but those can wait

I am sitting at my friend's work, right next to a calendar from a korean resturant. The image on the calendar? Two dogs. The jokes write themselves.

The Bad:

I'm trying to figure out how to either end,...

So, I come home and decide to tackle the mess in my living room. Sunday. Might do me good to be productive.

So, when I'm cleaning, I have to have music. I even put together a little mix on itunes just for the purpose.

But where do i set my laptop while...

So, I'm sitting at one of my local coffee shops, doin work, browsing sg, enjoying some coffee and a blueberry muffin.

And all of a sudden, the sound of a male voice yelling something, obviously angry, pours forth from the bathroom. Everyone turns to look.

less than a minute later, the door opens and out walks a man, maybe in his late 20s, dressed in...

1) I love lamp.

Yes people, as of last night, I have electricity again. Which means I'm broke again. But at least my broke ass can watch Cops at 4am.

2)So, yeah, I had never cleaned out my fridge after the electric went out because I don't really THINK. So, yeah. Ew. And I'm like at the point where I'm giving it away. Seriously. For...

I kinda sorta totaly have a crush on a guy who's a shorter version of the black dude from The green mile.

Updated to add: I also sorta totally have a crush on someone on my friend's list. I'm going to make him and Mini Michael Clark Duncan duke it out for my love.

i hope one, if not both, of them win!

It's me, isn't it? I'm shorter than Michael Clark Duncan.

Also, thank you for the Press Kit offer. I may take you up on it if he doesn't come through by Monday or Tuesday. I asked Chimay but he's being exceedingly lame.

Regardless, kiss

Just a bit of news and random facts

1) You know what makes me sorta star struck? When I get an email from lil_tuffy.

2) I am apparently REALLY good at getting people to post halfway offensive things on the boards when I'm not online. "Hey guys! You know what would be funny? If you photo shop Jesse Jackson saying "o rly?" and MLK sayin...

Rasheed Wallace hopes coaches don't cast All-Star votes for him.

"Vote for them four, don't vote for me," he said. "I don't want no All-Star votes for two reasons. One, that's not my goal -- I would rather win a championship. Plus, I want to be down on the beach having a couple cocktails with my wife at All-Star break."

I ♥ Rasheed.
