Babies having babies

I'm a grandmother!!!!

About a week ago admiral_pants and I noticed a one Ms Violet Mae Kittenton was getting a little fat. Good . She always was a stringbean.

And then she kept getting fatter.

And we determined that in spite of my daily pleas of "Dear Violet. Please just be a fat ass and not an unwed teenage mother", she was, indeed, with child. Children.

And tonight I come home from volivershagnasty's house to find admiral_pants and violet sitting on the sofa, violet being much more affectionate than I have seen her in a long time.

And as I lay on the couch watching The Cosby show (the one where rudy and peter go to the dentist ), I noticed her...twitching.

I went upstairs to go potty so i could come downstairs and get a box and a sheet or something to line it with so she could give birth. Kinda like Mary in the stable but Joseph would be played some chubby jewish girl in yoga pants and a white wifebeater.

Well, when i went upstairs, seh followed me, and went to hide under the sink in the cabinet. I put together her little maternity ward and come upstairs to find her in full on birthin process.

I yell "Karl! She's having them" and he comes out to assist. or bring gifts of myrrh or something.

I almost said "I dont know nothin 'bout birthin no babies" but was interupted by the sight of tiny little feet and a wee little tail.

So we are taking a break to let her do whatever she's supposed to do and will check in in 10 minutes. keep fingers crossed


Anyone want a kitten in 8 weeks or so?

EDIT:

There are 5 wriggly little kittens now living under my sink.

There appears to be 1 grey one, one black one, one calico one and two that are kinda cream/ginger. Karl and I decided to name them after characters from the TV Show that was on TV land when they were born as we were using sitcoms to time out the births (ok. so she had the last one halfway into Three's Company and we're now 15 minutes into Sandford and Son so she should be having another in about 3 minutes).

So, the first cream one is named Bud and the 2nd cream one is named Cockroach. The gray one is named Larry Dallas and the Black one is named Mr Furley and lastly, the calico is named Lamont.

I was hoping there would be 4 so i could name them Mike, Rik, Vyvyan and Neil. I guess I could name the first 4 that and the last one Balowski.

anyway. enough chitter chatter. BABIES!!!
