I talk a lot about how everyone in austin knows everyone. Or at least they all know me. At least thats how it seems, for, on a daily basis, I have people who I run into who end up working with a friend of mine or who used to play in a band with an ex of mine or whatever...
So, tonight I go to Wayne's house. Its my first time there so he gives me the $2 tour. He has a few b&w photos up from when he used to perform in this fetish show at Atomic Cafe. Torture Technique. I'm very familiar with it.
He used to do it with his ex wife, who I saw in one of the photos. Looked very familiar but couldnt place her.
I halfway through the Spurs game tonight, I think "I wonder if that is the troop Cassandra (one of my burlesque girls) used to perform in)"
So, I leave around 2am after a lovely evening and as I get to the end of Wayne's street, it hits me. Why did I recognize the girl in the picutre?
Yep, one of the girls in my burlesque troop indeed did fetish shows with Wayne.
