Stayed at the party long enough to make a lovely and sober toast with four of the best friends a girl could ask for then count backwards from 10 then make the trek back to my eastside abode.

I feel like there is ice water in my veins.
Second time I've cried today. Two friends going through breakups. I've cried as many times today as I've been cried upon.
But I cried twice today. I sat on a bench on the corner of 5th and Congress, watching people stroll by, blue skies above. My town is an amazing place and today, I pitied all of you who could not be there to feel it. I welled up with tears so strong.
The second time I cried? Well, that would be right now. I blame this silly girl who will listen to Tom Waits alone in her house to start off 2007 just to make herself cry just because it makes her feel human.
