I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I spent mine at the home of one of my burlesque dancers. Turkey and all the fixin's and hot buttered rum's as an after dinner drink.
I avoided the normal Black Friday crowds and instead, spent my hard earned American dollars at Hobby Lobby and Joanns fabrics. Even while shopping, I'm a complete dork. I spent about $25 total on 2 6X6 plastic storage boxes, a spool of thread, some pins, a spool of lace 1 yard each of seqins in 6 different colors and 1/8 of a yard of about 15 kinds of fabrics. A pretty sweet score. Both at Hobby Lobby (where I got the sequins) and Joanns (where I got the fabrics) I was asked what I was making with all this.
"If I told you, you wouldnt believe it"
"tell me!"
"pasties"
at both locations, this is the part where the lady stopped cutting my fabric and looked up at me.
"its for a show I'm doing"
and they'd go back to cutting...
