Who knew there were so many BEAUTIFUL plus sized girls in this town?
Auditions I would have bet would take no more than 2 hours took 4 due to the number of girls who came to audtion and due to the fact that we had a reporter there. No. Like for real. Look ma!! I'm on the news!
I finally cut it down to the 4 people needed to fill spots (the dancers will be myself, my friend maggie and 3 others with 1 girl working as alternate/understudy). I'm really proud of the girls I have. I'm not one for contrived diversity so after auditions were done and I realised we had a cutesy girl with short dark hair, a brash, energetic black girl, a girl with lovely sandy brown curls who I can tell will be our dark side, devilish one (who I am totally going to make dance to Cramps songs) and a 6 foot tall redhead who already looks like a 50's movie starlet, all who range from a size 14 to a size 26, I was a bit suprised at how different we all were but how we all seemed to fit together REALLY well.
We also found our MC yesterday. Voice like Dean Martin and looks good in a fedora. Has tons of experience.

life in Ireland is grand, you know how it is! everyone complains about being here but dont want to leave! i imagine you would find it quite different if you come back!
