Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

We got a bit of good news wednesday.

Long story short, the clinic called. all my test results came back good. I can start taking my ovulation drugs when my next cycle starts and dave and I can officially start trying to have a baby.

So, i'm back for the time being!

Updates:

1) Had surgery in September. Went really well. All the abnormal cells were removed. No cancer found. Squeaky Clean Babymaker.
2) Still moving to austin but not until May. I am so ready to move back right the fuck now.

came out to California in October. Mobilized thru the USMC reserve for deployment. I'll probably be out here through the New Year, but that's sort of something we find out when it happens.

just visiting my midwestern peoples who have left for greener (or at least warmer) pastures.

I'll be in austin for the music part of sxsw for sure, and it looks like i'll also be visiting austin and houston in january, staying in austin for the most part but hitting up museums and the rothko chapel in houston. i'll let you know when i get my ticket for january, i'm still looking for cheap fares.

Had another doctor visit on monday. Im still waiting to find out if i can get my insurance company to cover the surgery. In the meantime, the doctor put me on Megace, 2 pills a day, twice a day, in hopes it will reduce or elimiate the hyperplasia.

so. biopsy. was "something". not the worst something but not a good something. I go to see the doctor on the 10th and will get scheduled for surgery. hopefully it is smooth sailing from then on.

I'm such a shit for not updating this more often.

Long story short, after some testing to see about fertility treatment, they saw some unusual stuff on one of my ultrasounds so I'm going in monday for a biopsy. could be nothing. could be something. they don't know.

I don't think there's anything actually wrong with that. I seem to derive a bit of intense satisfaction with being frugal and still turning out a good impression. I can only imagine that her $22K wedding didn't satisfy her and that she's left being, well, bitter. Good for you. smile and hey, congrats on being married.
