Ooo don't you just love that Monday feeling, the whole week stetched out before you!
Its actually not too bad at the moment, I changed department at work so now I work in avian virology, helping keep the UK free of things like bird flu. Its really interesting and loads to learn so the days fly by. I've also got a work conference this week so i get to go away for 3 days and sit listening to talks on emerging diseases and disease survailance and stuff like that.
Went to a friends babys christening the other day, interesting..... Call me stupid but I had no idea I would have to sit through a church service. They spout a load of crap (i'm not religious) but i survived and then we had a party after. They got a dj in who normally does rock clubs, it was funny watching this tattooed metal head dj for a load of kids and middle aged people. I just spent my time eating and drinking. By midnight i was sufficiently pissed.
Had myself a little day trip to brighton the other weekend, always nice to get down there and sit on the beach with a beer. The highlight was when talking to a mate a huge seagul shit landed on his shoulder, it was so huge the impact actually knocked him back a little. Awesome.
Coming up is London tattoo convension that I really want to go too but I can't aford it, also in October theres the Relentless Freeze festival that I can't afford to go to, this sucks ass being skint but i'll get there somehow.
