I'm in to week 2 of my time off work and i've run out of free stuff to do.
Last week was OK, I went up to London on Tuesday, I was there by about 7:30 int he morning which was far to early. I decided to go to museums as they are free and interesting. I had 4 planned, The Science museum, The Natural History museum, the Huntarian Medical museum and finallyt he Imperial War museum (in that order).
I got to the Science museum at half which wasn't bad apart fromt eh fact it didn't open until 10 so I had to kill some time but I was back in time to be the first person in the museum that day (sad I know).
By the time I got out it was gone 12 so I had to bin off the History museum and go straight to the Huntarian, its the only one I've never been too. It took about an hour and a half to walk there but it was worth it for all the jars of penis's, tumors and other medical oddities.
So by the time i'd finished in there it was too late to go to the War museum as I had to meet someone at 4 and it was nearly 3 so I just wandered through Covent Garden and on to Victoria station where I met them and home we went - I was so knackered after walking solidly for nearly 8 hours.
On the Friday I went crab fishing down in a place called Mudeford. For something that takes very little skill I was pretty useless, in 3 hours I think I caught about 10 crabs , it was an hour before I even caught my first one. The weather was nice and it was good to get down the coast for a change.
I think i'll also do a spot of job hunting too.
