When I was a kid, the Epcot sphere was the iconic symbol of Disney World. It was displayed in every ad, all grand and big. The pictures were always from the ground, looking up, so there wasn't a reference point. I grew up naturally believing that all of Epcot, or maybe even all of Disney World, was contained inside.
Many years later, Lankakitten and I took a vacation at Disney World and discovered its true contents -- an advertisement for AT&T.
