Ugh. Blew my video card while trying to replace its broken fan. I was clipping off the plastic plugs that held the old fan in place and accidentally scratched the surface of the board with the cuticle clippers I was using.
I looked real close at the little scratch. I mean it was really little, like you wouldn't know it was there unless you were looking for it under a bright light. And I remember wondering, "Was that a $300 moment of carelessness?"
Sure was.
Today, I get to choose, am I going to Fry's Electronics or Best Buy to get a replacement? That's like choosing between a hot poker in the eye or a sledgehammer to the teeth!
I'll take the hot poker for $160, Alex.

Fuck Best Buy and Fry's. I ordered from Newegg.com. I'd rather wait till Tuesday and save a hundred and fifty bucks.
