Thank fucking god it's friday.
Tonight it's beers with old friends, tomorrow it's date night Gumbo's for dinner (although Bd's sounds better...plus DoubleDuaghters is right there). Sunday is dog days!!!!! I am looking forward to FINALLY meeting sg friends. Sunday night is poker. Last Sunday was my first game with real players and did pretty well.....although my ass was handed to me a few times......but they invited me back to their table. Either they like playing me or they think I'm a sucker
Work is going rather well. Monday a manger from another part of the company wants to meet up. There is a new position open and I have been asked to go for it. Cross your fingers. I have my first paycheck and all i can say is holy shit taxes are terrible. oh well....it's still money.
Tai Chi is still in the works. So far there is a community center but I would like a more relaxing atmosphere.
