Ha. It seems to me that when we (people) promise to take things slow and to not get too involved, the exact opposite occurs. It has in all of my cases, anyhow, and most other people I've known. Maybe it's better to not decide the course of things and let them come as they may? Last time I decided to take things slow with someone, my heart decided otherwise for me, and his for him. Maybe it would have been wise to stick to our original plan, I mean one can always ignore feelings, but the feeling is still there and growing deeper, so really even ignoring it doesn't help. Fuck, I don't know. I guess I'm just not one for trying to control mine. I'd rather get lost in someone, no matter the outcome.

I think it depends on the situation. I've always felt like it was good to be friends first before anything else. The only times I've had fun was when I ended up dating someone that was my best friend. When you're friends you can be yourself... Then you can find out what a person is really like versus the whole facade that gets built up by just dating. ?? Yeah, that's my story... And I'm sticking to it. If things don't work out you lose a friend but, if they do it really REALLY works.
