Wow!! Been WAY too long since I updated this.
Well, it's the bank holiday weekend...and today (big surprise) we've had snow in Scotland, high winds, pouring rain and grey skies. About standard for the first official weekend of summer.
I got a new phone...Sony Ericsson with walkman...WooHOO! New gadget!! The earphones suck though. They remind me of the hideous things that you listen to the 'radio' through when you land up in hospital *shudder*. The buttons are all in the wrong place though. I keep cutting people off.
Interesting bit of 'news' today. Several of our more conservative rags have headlines condemning a Channel Four documentary for 'trampling on Princess Dianas grave' by showing a picture that was taken of her as she lay dying in the car-crash.
These are the same newspapers that regularly increase their circulation on a slow news week by sticking a BIG full page pic of 'The Peoples Princess' on page 1 with a non-story 'Shock Revelation: Diana still dead!! Full story with pics you've seen before a dozen times since 1997 on pages 2,4,6,8-15, with a double page commemorative pullout centrespread of our Angelic Virginal Late Not-Quite-Queen.'
The same papers that condemned the paparazzo for hounding her to her death, forgetting that THEY were the ones employing the papprazzo.
Ahh, I LOVE the smell of hypocrisy in the morning... smells like.... well actually, it smells like it always does, like sewage.
