An ex-girlfriend of mine had a lot of fun once because of that. This gay man got her number by mistake by a guy he met at the Gay90's in the Twin Cities. So everytime she checked her voice mail there was this message:

"Hey, it's just me. I don't know if you recognize me, but we met at the 90's and I just wanted to talk to you."

"Hey, um...this is -----...are you ignoring me?"

"Look, if you dont' want to talk to me, then you should at least tell me and stop making me live on my phone!"

I found this funny, not because he was heartbroken (i felt sorry for him, regardless), but because all these were in the same day and within 6 hours of each other. And he had just MET the guy.
