i have to say fighting for gay rights is fun..i now have a cracked rib, busted up face, and im coverds in bruises...why? all cuz im gay and some asshole gets in my face and tells me how disgusting i am and blah blah blah and all i said was " to each their own" and i walked away. next thing i know im on the ground gettting the shit kicked out of me...i did fight back as best i could and beleive me you should see the other guy 
and he got arrested for assault and i got off free cuz i got hit a shit load of times before i hit him so i was in self defence and i have witnesses .

And if this guy has any money (hell, even if he doesn't: make him squirm), sue him for: 1) assault; 2) battery; 3) intentional infliction of emotional distress. Find a lawyer to do it on a contingency basis. Wisconsin law provides a great civil cause of action under Wis. Stat. 895.75 that is specifically geared towards this kind of assault and battery. You can recover punitive damages, medical costs, and attorneys fees.
Most importantly you can put a fascist fuck like this guy in his place and send a message with teeth to the rest of his kind.
