i'm an architect... that tried teaching part time to pay the bills while her business started going... but has now fallen in love with teaching and would not change what she is doing for anything... i love standing in front of the kids (teenage energy-sucking-life-draining-monsters actually) and showing them new stuff, stuff that they can understand and learn to use for good things, then see them apply it in everything they do... there is no better feeling for me (how can i be soooo romantic in that way??) ... of course i live in mexico, where teachers are so underpaid that it hurts, so i have just discovered the wonders of tutoring in the afternoons ($$$ lots of it!!) well, the money part is taken care of with tutorings in the afternoon... but i still have my dream of one day having my architecture firm well established, right now it`s just a couple of jobs here and there devided by 3 partners.... life can be soooo complicated when you work...
