I thought I'd mention that the Caribou show the other night was absolutely fucking incredible. Yes, I used an expletive, it was that good. There were two drummers and it was just so loud, blissed out, and chaotic I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. I have 4 reviews due by Monday so I should start them soon, but I don't think I'll ever stop being such a procrastinator. Working hard sometimes reaps great rewards in the future, but lazyness always pays off immediatley.

I'm extremely close to moving, I've been saying that for the last year or so, but things are finally beginning to gel. I don't know what exactly it is I'm going to do when I get there, but we'll see what happens I suppose. Moving out of the south gives me mixed emotions, there are lots of things I don't like about this place and alot that I love. The creeks and the rivers, the Georgia mountains, all the beautiful land and scenery...That's all a very romantic view of what the south is like, the scenic one. Really where I am now is such a yuppie wasp hive you have to drive a good bit to find that south again. That was the south I remember as a kid, the one that I saw rarely, but loved for it's dirty elegance. Also, we have Outkast and Luda here, the Coca Cola company, CNN and Adult swim. However I can't really imagine being born and then dying in the same place. For some reason that seems really depressing to me.

Fortune cookies are really good with vanilla ice cream. biggrin

So, you're considering leaving the South too, eh? It's a nice place to be, but I personally need something different for awhile. I'm a nomad.
