Hello everyone how are you good I hope, I'm great myself thanks for asking. Let's see whats new with me-well I'll start with im listning to Audioslave right now and that allways puts me in a good mood. I had a pretty good weekend, on saturday Erin and I went to see the movie Something New. It was a very good movie better than I thought it would be. It's about this black woman dateing this white guy, but there's alot more to it but that's the jist of it. Anyway this brought up the whole race issue with dateing and all. So we had a long talk about it on the way too and at dinner. Erin is white and I myself am black (I prefer to be called black rather than african american I have never been to africa and I don't plan on going) so the movie kind of hit home. We have talked about this before but she said some things I didn't know about her like she was afraid for me to meet her parents because of what thay would think. She said the last black guy she dated was asked to leave the house 20 mins. after meeting her mom for the first time. Although this dumbass did show up to the house with 3 other black guys in a small town that's 99.9 percent white. So I might have reacted the same way if I was her mom and he wanted to date my 15 year old daughter. Any way that was one of the reasons she was afraid for us to meet. Erin and I started dating in september and I didn't meet her parents til' june, and when we met her mom was more concerned about the age differance than the black white thing(i'm 33 and she's 23). So she was worried for nothing. We came to the agreement that race dosn't matter it's how you present yourself, and if a person still has a problem with you then fuck them. You can't change the way some people are and there are too many assholes to even try. The rest of our night was good and I think the talk brought us closer. Sunday was the superboul and that was fun, the team I wanted to win did so I was happy. And today was back to work which went good so I have no complants.
