i have had the worst day... i found out my cat has cancer... and only a few weeks to months to live. i am a veterinary nurse and specialize in oncology and chemotherapy, and have every resource available in medicine at my fingertips... but this kind of cancer is impossible to treat. i feel so helpless... i am in shock... i was just taking her blood for her yearly checkup... and then it was a whirlwind... bad blood values... ultrasound, bad liver... biopsy, cancer... oncologist, "nothing we can do"...
