The death of Michael Jackson reminds me so much of the day Elvis died, which I'm sure most of you are too young to remember, every TV channel covering events as they unfolded, every radio station playing his songs non stop, even the allegations of drug addiction, and I'm sure in the next few days we'll see all the nasty hangers on coming out with their salacious little stories. Just remember the man and his music, he may have led a weird lifestyle but he was still somebody's son and he was somebody's father too, let him rest in peace!
A happier musical story saw the return at Glastonbury last night of The Specials, mind blowing, and tomorrow the return of Blur, proving if there was ever ant doubt that British music is still the best!
