Forgive me my recent post about a blue-sky road trip to the Blue Ridge. It just ain't gonna happen. Since I'm the primary caregiver for my parents, anything longer than a day-trip or an overnighter just isn't in the cards.

I'm thinking about a road trip from Cape Cod to the Blue Ridge area to find some local bluegrass music Mid-Sept. I don't want to travel alone; anyone interested? First major stop from Cape Cod (I think) would be Roanoke, then on to the Blue Ridge of NC. Share expenses though I'd cover all auto costs. Maybe a mix of B&B and camping.

I added a year yesterday, Yippee!wink Taking care of my parents is a grind, it's wearing me out, pounding me down to nothing. My advice to all you who are younger (and who isn't?), kill your parents when they turn 70 wink and avoid the burden that comes with ever-increasing years (both you and them).
