what a peculiar week this week. started last tuesday evening when i drank a great deal of vodka and purposefully smashed my car head on into a tree. this bizarre behavior landed me in the clink for a night, on suicide watch, only to be bail out by my ex-girlfriend for $1,000.00. i went home that morning and slept for 2 hours, got fully dressed, ate about 650 mg of aspirin, filled the bathtub with warm water. and lacerated both of my wrists. i was found by the same ex-girlfriend who phoned the paramedics, who then rushed me to the er. i recieved blood and 15 sutures. i was then committed to a psychiatric unit of a nearby hospital. now here i sit, six days later medicated and feeling much improved. i no longer have suicidal ideation, and i have a semi-optimistic sense about me. the events that have recently occured make for a disturbing, yet interesting journal entry. do you agree or disagree.
