You are a good person.....but then again, I think I knew that anyway. I like it when people make me think. Gets me out of the boring automaticity that sometimes fills people's lives. Way to make people think and feel good

I adore both you and Valen so much! I hope we'll get to meet soon. *hugs*

I'm sure your feet
Deserved their treat.
This is silly but I'm damned if I can think of anything to say about myself at the moment, that is worth saying. I shall make a list over the weekend.
I'm visiting my family in Leicester fro tomorrow till Sunday, probably the last time before Christmas.
Have a good weekend yourself.

Seven days since I last visited your page
. I mean to check my friends pages at least every 2-3 days (or sooner if I get a message from them) but I keep lapsing. I have a manageable no. of friends so I have no excuse - I don't know how those with a hundred or more do it.
Hope you are well
Your journal was lovely & 'warming' to read & it's great that you feel like that, although it obviously does hurt when you don't see each other. I am not in quite the same position but I know what you mean about the 'love' thing. My feelings are perhaps not so intense because I don't see my 'crush' as often (as I'd like) & I can't afford to, really, as she has a guy at present; it would be too painful to let my feelings go. I only have to look at my friend when we meet up & I melt (I wrote a bit about her in my latest journal oddly enough) I think I'm right to keep my feelings in (& have had plenty of practice).
What you said about your parents sounds like how mine are - they argue regularly over stupid things but you don't have to look hard to see how much they love each other. Next year will be their Golden wedding anniversary.

I think it is time for you to update.
Heyas, all, I guess by now Valen has told you all about the shopping trip to the Mall of America. I loved it, needless to say I shopped and shopped and shopped. I walked into Torrid and went nuts. I bought myself a new skirt and some thigh highs and knee sox. The knee sox have cute little pink bows up the back and the...

Wow....I hope that your clients start to feel a bit better... it sucks to hear about sick little girls... makes me sad.
All little girls should be happy!! While they still can... Being young is the best part of your life, to tell the truth.
Good to hear from you again...

Hey sweetie! How are you?
So, again no students *sweet* I get to go to work tonight from 6-about 12:30am because we have that stupid Star Wars trilogy release shit going on. Anyway, I've done really well at the HBC so far, by 4:30pm on Saturday I was acting like I owned the place. Which rocks, cuz I LOVE the fact that I am doing okies.
I hope you are...

Hope the Mall of America thingy is good. When you going?
So, I got a call on Monday saying that my students wouldn't be in. Then I went to work Tuesday and Wednesday and darn if the kids didn't miss the bus AGAIN. Shucks, I tell ya I was a little disappointed that I get another day off .
So far this week has been pretty damned rockin. Valen got me a dozen roses for our...

thanks for the words of encouragement!

thank you!
I worked Friday til midnight, got up for a store meeting yesterday, worked til midnight, and STILL had time to party! I did pretty well with balancing the fact that I have a real life and a work life this weekend. I also took a 4.5 hour nap yesterday which is honestly more sleep than I had gotten for like 4 consecutive nights beforehand.
I...

You saw the 'draft' version of my journal - i re-photoshopped the picture & rewrote bits of it - so you'll need to go back now .
Have to go to work myself in a minute - more later.

You are amazing. You're clearly a very strong lady - but sensitive as well. I'm so impressed by how you've coped & are able to handle difficult situations and work out what you need to do - and do it. I'm so sorry to read about your father. My parents are still around. I'm dreading when they're not here anymore but it's especially hard to lose a parent prematurely. Big 'hugglie'.
Your street sounds lovely & your house sounds as though it is perfectly located for comfort & convenience - did you have a long search for your des. res. or was it something which just presented itself at the right time?
You can ask me those 3 (or as many as you like) questions now - or do I have to put it up on my journal first??
I assume you're working this w/e but hope you have a good one.
