Going shopping with the in-laws today. Got a letter from my twin bro today. He's going to be in prison for a little over a year and has been there for just over 3 years as of now. He's lucky, he could have gotten 20 years but the cops knew he was the "accessory" and not the "mastermind" so they worked on him for a while and then told him all about how his friend was trying to say it was all his idea but since my brother didn't have the gun and also had wanted to let the woman who's house they were in leave the room so long as someone was with her; oh and the fact that she was a known drug-dealer/gangsta's mom and my brother's friend was a drug dealer in another town...cops actually put 2 and 2 together and came up with 4...seriously!
Well, my brother had to testify against his friend which wasn't too much of a good thing but at the same time they didn't let it out in the prisons at all. The guy that my bro and his friend went up against; went out and killed 5 of the members of the friends' family. The Gangsta and his girlfriend went to a party and lured a young girl out to the country to "party" with them and then he put a gun to her head and shot her then went back to the house where they had been partying and shot three guys and then found the pregnant lady hiding in the closet put the gun to her head and shot her. Then, he got on a bus and tried to run away but the FBI caught him in North Carolina. He didn't come after my brother or us, because he knew it wasn't my bro's idea. The only problem is the fact that this guy has "people" in the prison system of Kansas and they might think it would be a service to him to do my bro in; so my bro is in 24-7 lockdown and we only get to see him every 4 weeks when they ship him out on a bus to another prison and we can see him through a closed circuit monitoring t.v. system. Then he is shipped back to his "main house" wherever that is. We receive his letters through a third party member, a warden at the local rdu.
Anyway, I am in a great mood today and hoping that you all have a great weekend; better update later.

strange thing is that sometomes I remember the most off-the-wall, irrelevant things for no apparent reason when I don't need to, yet when i really *do* want to remember something even concentrating hard doesn't always work.
I can remember my family's Co-op supermarket dividend number (from age 5 to about 11, when it changed): 86798. But my ma & pa's mobile no.s ...... ?
