so there may be certain things that are inappropriate for outdoor wear, but in the end, if a girl says no, and the guy ignores it, it's still non-consenual and wrong. and he should be punished. no matter what a girl wears (or doesn't wear), men should keep it in their pants, go home and look at a little adult entertainment, where the women intentionally remove their clothing for that purpose. but remember, rape is not about sex, it's about power. a rapist would just as soon take advantage of a women fully covered as he would a women scantilly clad. so that excuse of "she dressed like that, she was asking for it" should just be thrown out the window. there is certainly, absolutely NO EXCUSE.
i was a juror years ago in a rape case...he drugged her with a date-rape drug, and she woke up, powerless, in a haze, to him on top of her, inside her...his lame excuse was that she dressed a certain way and flirted with him. of course, the rapist got sent to prison. good...one less asshole in society.

I loved last night's Take Back the Night Rally and March. I helped with setting it up but really our wonderful President of Ordinary WOmen and also our Faculty Advisor did the most stressful jobs of all, making certain that we had a program, people to fill that program with, Deidra McCalla (who ROCKED) and just so many other wonderfull people there.
