If I had the opportunity to address the SG Logo incarnate, I would tell her this: Hold true to the SG brand. If we who love this site wanted Playboy, we'd be trolling their message boards. I mean, who the hell wants a bunch of playboy wannabes these days. I can't afford to be a playboy. I can barely afford to cushion any impending disasters, let alone go out "clubbing" or drinking single malt scotch or smoking cigars. Playboy has always tried to sell me an idealized image of myself. I don't need an image of myself. I've got enough of myself already.
I can afford, however, to spend an hour or too gazing upon idealized images of noble women. Noble women who deserve respect and admiration for their courage. Women a guy always wants to be around. Cool, smart, funny. Pretty OK with themselves in an otherwise fucked up world. Looking for communion. Could be better, could be worse. Worthy of attention. Close attention.
