OMG! *** BC Prize Battle Tales...***

we played a strip-mall in a cornfield. the town h.s. was called "man love high school" and they had "nutter Park" where i'm sure there was plenty of manlove to go around in the bushes, and crack too. we saw a cropduster on the way in, and this kamakazee pilot's landing gear was clearing the power lines by 5 feet! that freaked me the fuck out!
we played w/ the wednesday night heroes, hosers from canada. they were great. the n.y. rel-x were all business as usual. they played a short set though. i think they just wanted to get the fuck outta there. and, a local band played called mind control. they were a cool family act, w/ dad on guitar, 1 daughter on bass, the other daughter on vocals, and 1 of thier boyfriends, on drums. tight band. i'm gonna have to hook them up w/ a richmond show some time.
crackdown played a tight set, and we had the biggest crowd, but about half of them got up and split after about 4 songs, when they figured out all our songs were about "fuck you, you fucking losers". this exodus seemed to put E.Z.E. in a panic of dismay, because she thought they did'nt like her! NOT! she calmed down when i told her, "we're playin for the ones that stay!"
made a hundred bucks, and got the fuck outta there.
