I don't know if I believe that theory.... an earthquake of that magnitude would be felt all the way in northern south america, and the tidal waves caused by it, would devastate mexico, california, oregon, and washington..... nevada would be devastated. so would arizona, and Idaho..... I remembered the name of that clif. It's called the pacific rige or costal shelf..... it makes the undertow really narly.
