Prayer was my request yesterday
I still welcome it today

From 17-20 i changed so much, i experienced so many things
learned so many of lifes lessons
sadly as it turns out i have to learn one of lifes lessons once again

i searched far and wide for someone to teach me this lesson...
to remind me of what this life has for so many of us
who better to teach, who better to remind, than myself

this is a piece i wrote in Jan, 2005

so long ago i swore i'd never endure this pain again...
yet i face it now
