One thing I don't get. . .

One of my favorite thing to say is. . .

"I wish 'X' would die." (X being whoever happens to be on my shit list at the moment.)
and inevitably, whoever happens to be in earshot of my wish has to chime in with "Don't say that." or "How would you feel if 'X' actually did die?"

What the fuck is that? When I wish someone were dead, I GENUINELY WOULD GET MORE JOY OUT OF THIS WORLD IF THEY WERE DEAD! Why shouldn't I say it. Usually it's from some sandal wearing hippie fuck who'd hold an artty love-in to protect their right to kill their own unborn child, throw blood on celebrities wearing fur or defend some patchouli stinking fuck's right to burn the American Flag. . . But when I wish death on my enemy I've crossed the line? Is it something I should say? That's irrelevant because according to rules they embrace it's something I can say therefore its fair game whether they like it or not.

How do they think their moral condemnation of my comments is going to effect me? Do they honestly think I'm going to say. . . "Ya know what, your right. I wasn't thinking about the insensitivity and implications of my comment. I'll choose my words more wisely next time. Thank you for bringing this character flaw to my attention."

How would I feel if they actually did die? I'd feel like the universe is finally doing my bidding and I'd start making a list and you better hope you aren't on it. mad

Can X be the woman that got the job? But I guess I am one of those liberal artsitc kids that hug trees and has strong political views. But my choice to not have babies is because epileptic moms tend to have really effed up kids. And I don't trust any boys right now to be my baby daddy.

And I would never wish for anyone to die. Not even the almost monster in law. That is just malicious and "what goes around comes around." You're right, what if that person did die, you would feel like S***.
