I quit teaching. Time for a change. Reading a lot of fiction now. Never had time to read just for fun. Now I only watch 2 shows and the rest of my time is spent with a book. The last 2 months Atlas Shrugged, Watership Down, Candide, a couple Hamish Macbeth mysteries, Shogun, Snowcrash, Steven King's On Writing. My wife said I gotta quit buying books and get a library card. Aparently you can borrow books for free and then get more when you finish them.

As with all my major life changes I had to puncuate the moment with a new computer purchase. Got the 24inch dual core duo running mac windows and linux - then to top it off my new job told me to buy whatever I needed so I used the company card for a 17 inch macbook produal core duo. My mac collection is getting out of hand now.
