Nowadays, more than ever, I need an escape. Especially with all the shit I've been dealing with lately at work, home, and in my personal life. I don't wanna get into those for this blog (because it's too damn depressing for this cheery event), but for those who know me very well, you know what i'm getting at. For those who don't what I'm referring to, I'll share with you later.
Nonetheless, last Saturday was the escape I needed!! My friends and I had a long-awaited photoshoot, in Japantown, of these characters we made up. And I mean everyone got into character beautifully!!! Not only that but my pal, besides being the lovely woman in black is also a DYNAMITE photographer and took some outstanding photos for this series. Us being the sci-fi / fantasy geeks we are had the sweetest time ever and plan to do some more during some of the upcoming comic book conventions, plus during the Cherry Blossom season. I can't wait for that!!
