Woke up at 6:30 am this morning to get ready for work. I turned on the news, first thing like i always do, only to see newscasters reporting in my town. Apparently, 11 inches of rain causes flooding!! who would have thought? *rolls eyes*
This town near Medford is filled with beautiful lakes (see my pics) and all 3 dams broke. Hearing our police chief say i shouldnt flush my toilet doesnt make me very happy before i have my first cup of coffee. lol
Lumberton Police is going crazy. I couldnt even get to work this morning. I feel bad I cant make it in when the National Guard is there and all those residents that need to be rescued. There isnt anything I can do, but being the support staff is always an important job to the officers in times like this. I hope they are ok. Normally my day is pretty quiet. Now im missing all the action. *sigh*
Anyway, ill be heading to the other department where I applied for another high paying position tomorrow (payday...YAY!) and hopefully hear from them soon (they would be silly not to call me. Im a phenominal worker, very qualified, fucking cool as hell, fun to work with AND I bring in baked goods.)
And in other news... taking some test shots for SG this week. Gonna get some outfits together tonight
