I started to think 'I wonder if she knows about the site?' 'Should I tell her?' 'Would it be her thing?' 'I wonder if she'll let me photograph her?' Of course I didn't say any of these things, I don't want to get taken to official HR type meetings and branded a perv! I narrowly avoided that when I first started working there.
Oh go on then, I'll tell you. I'd only been there a few days and had already met some enthusiastic and sexy people. I'd had a quick email exchange with a very friendly lady, she ended up saying that it was a bit of a dry stage for her and so I helpfully forwarded on a link that took her to my adult toy website of choice, thinking this would be amusing and also helpful. She thought it was both but apparently her then girlfriend didn't at all! My naivety of the workings of modern business was my saviour and I was directed rather swiftly to the IT policy of the company and told that my helpful suggestion was, on this occasion, not appreciated.
The offended lady has since left the company and also the relationship and my colleague has since got engaged to a guy who seems much more suited to her. So it all turned out fine in the end.
Does that mean I should talk to the redheads? Maybe not at work. I'm sure there's a policy!
