You are on a good start. Plus you know what you did wrong. Advice I can give is try to stick with basic camera angle for a good amount of the shoots until you are use to it. Nail you exposure in the beginning, you did a pretty good job brighting them up I must say. Also unless you want them watch for the double shadows.
I think you should re-do the look. I dig the backdrop color with your hair and bra. You can really nail a Classic Pin-Up look with this look. Pull the camera back and square it off and go for it.
