blindside

Yay train!
We took all the kids to ride the Texas State Railroad today. It's a real steam engine, etc etc, blahblahblah you'd be bored.
Anyways, it meant an early morning and a long car ride. Grace and I slept in the back seat. Observations I made this morning:
Grace is VERY affectionate, very tactile. That makes my heart happy. I worry so much what the repercussions of this divorce might be on her. She seems pretty normal, adjusted and happy.
In the sunlight, her eyes are almost purple. She is going to have so many guys swooning. (and me keeping the shotgun well-polished)
That girl is a ham, and adorable. I love her more and more every day.
Anyways, we had a very big day, and everyone was quite wiped out by the time we got home. She didn't even put up a fight at bedtime.

LEt me say that Val Kilmer kicks ASS as Doc in Tombstone. I WISH I had the cool he has going there. Best lines in the movie, without a doubt!
and have I mentioned I'm supposedly related to Jonny Ringo?
