Nothing like a business trip with coworkers to really help you hate...errr, I mean appreciate them.
I liked Austin, got to see a lot more of it. I'd like to go back sometime on my own time, my own agenda, my choice of company.
I have made it my mission to clean up and paint my spare bedroom/former computer room/future laundry room this weekend.I bought the loudest orange I could find. It's pretty fucking close to road cone orange. Will this room be hideously loud, ugly and gaudy? HELL YES! I want to really go apeshit on that room and have fun with it. It's MY room and MY house and I'll do what the fuck-ever I want to
I've got the digital cam this month too...so if anyone's interested in seeing pics of the worlds ugliest room in the making...lemme know

Oops, apparently the digital cam went camping with Grace and my parents. No pics of the before then.
I have cleaned out some of the shit in the room, broke up the old computer desk in there (FUN!) and have cleared out wall #1. About to put down the dropcloth and start slapping some paint up there. I can't wait to see how loud this is gonna be

Got 2 coats on 2 walls, Got 1 coat on a couple otherrs. (it's not a square, 4-wall room) It's fucking ORANGE! Actually, it's more urnge. It really looks better than I'd thought, I'm kinda disappointed.
right now the orange wall, white trim makes me think of a dreamsicle...mmmm! I haven't decided what color I'll do the trim in yet. If I pick an awful enough color, it may be closer to the wretched room I desire. I actually want to grafitti up the walls, paint random shit on them..have all my friends come over and make their mark..I think it'll be cool.

No i don't do my own prints...well...actually, the ones i posted i did print by myself, but i don't have access to a lab anymore so i changed to digitaltal cameras...not the professional ones though but it's enough, as long as you can change the lighting/exposure on computer ... so yeah, now i don't print anything out anymore...all on comp.
you're really good at painting. I wish my walls were like that. your daughter's really cute by the way.
i use to love all those ugly loud colors. i painted my chest of drawers bright electric horror green..it's great!
