I've been having wretched difficulties sleeping lately. It doesn't help that I work night shift hours and tend to get home about 4am, but you figure I'd crash after a hell-nite at work? Instead I'm up till 11am or later trying to with utmost futility to sleep. It really fucked up my weekend with my girlfriend casue I was only able to sleep like an hour before we went to downtown to this German Christmas Fest. I could barely keep awake the whole time. By the time we got back to my place I was ready to sleep. She jokingly commented that I'm like an old man always needing a nap. I was hoping she would stay and hang out a bit but when I fell asleep on her at one point she woke me up to tell me to just go to bed and that she'll call me tommorow.

DAMN INSOMNIA!!!

Of course now I'm wide awake after a little two-hour nap...been that way since midnight.

Sleep Damn Me! Sleep!

On another note...x-mas is a around the corner and I have to try and figure out what to get the girlfriend. We were actually talking today about what to get one another. I'm contemplating jewelry of some sort, but then that begs the question what kind do I get her? Dilemma, dilemma, dilemma.

Anyways...I'm gonna try and knock myself unconcious with a mallet or something to get that much needed sleep. Ciao for now.
