1. How was your Thanksgiving and what are you thankful for?

It was only ok. My holidays tend to be shite because I generally have to work later that evening or midnite the following day. In this case I was at work by 2300 that nite.

2. Who's putting up a Christmas tree 🎄?

The wife finally put it up just about a week ago. Kids helped her decorate.

3. Do you have any family traditions for Thanksgiving and Christmas?

Go to the inlaws for Thanksgiving. Christmas Eve at my house, wife cooks up a roast and invites whomever wants to come over to a really nice meal (typically members of her family only show up). Christmas Day my family comes over, but the meal is definitely a lot more casual than the day before.

4. Your best advice?

It's about the time you spend with family not what was spent on the gift.

5. Do you have any holiday charities you donate to?

Red Door Animal Shelter in Chicago. Animals need help too.

6. Your favorite Christmas song?

The dogs barking Jingle Bells.

7. Your best Christmas present, your choices given or received

A 1st edition of Tales from Watership Down given to me by my wife's aunt.

8. Do you have your Christmas shopping done?

I don't do it, too busy, the wife generally takes care of that for everyone in the family.

9. Fun question - something you enjoy during the Holiday’s

I honestly don't really enjoy the holidays, but I guess if I had to choose something it would be driving around with the kids looking at Christmas lights.

10. Do you have plans for New Year's Eve?

I'll probably be asleep before midnite...lol, real exciting I know.

11. Your goals for the New Year 2024?

Read more books, spend more time with the kids, try and see friends of mine.

12. Your New Year's resolution?

Lose weight.

13. Your favorite hobbies?

TTRPG's, wargaming, video games, hiking, camping, reading.

14. Do you do Christmas cards?

Nope.

15. Share anything you want from your past holidays?

A long time ago I didn't hate the holidays, but my job has unfortunately influenced how much I loathe them now.
