ok, new update - that was a true story about the poor little kitty,and the people at the rooming house in houston I was staying at tried to save it - they got some flea bath stuff and washed the fleas off.
umm, the girl - shes totally in love with me, cant get enough of me- ha ha - right, at least she keeps agreeing to go on dates with me, so thats good - because shes a fox, and seems pretty cool too -
and there was a baby bunny hopping down central the other night when I was going home from the bars and I caught it - I havent seen it really since I got it home,but the plates of lettuce keep dissapearing, so its in the house somewhere - its really cute - I love all things rodent or weaslelike

it was actually pretty easy to get around in korea. the things i learned were mostly to make sure i was polite - things like hello, thank you, no tentacles, please...stuff like that.
one of the weird things about korea (and this is a generalization, but i'm gonna say it anyway), is that a lot of people are trying to improve their lot in life, and many of them see learning english as a way toward that goal. so lots of people, when they see whitey comin', will just start speaking english at you to the best of their ability.
there's also the universally understood method of just pointing at things. that works pretty well.
