It could be worse. My cat wipes her butt on the rug. I don't know why. Maybe she wants to feel extra clean.

cats are well smart despite what you think, they are just a bit mental. im sure your cat had a reason for having poo on its ear and if you asked him he would have probably told you;

- why do you have poo on your ear?

- because i fucking can, ok?!

never underestimate a cat, i love them merely because they show people no respect and have the intelligence to let you know this but keep you on a hook. dogs on the other hand are plain dumb.
