memorial day
memories..
thoughts, happy and sad.
something familiar...
everything, everyone
you have come to know
passing on in your life
as through death or displacement
taking a piece of you with them as though,
you passed on, as they passed on.
yet filling (feeling?) that hole
with a piece of their
SOUL
you move on
yet never beyond
as those memories keep current
amnesia...

Excellent poem.
It reminds me of my Grandpa who recently passed away.
He was easily one of my best friends. Saw him nearly every week of my life..
Into some astral projection eh?
Ever get it to work?
I've tried it several times, have gotten fairly close.
Usually when the vibrations start it scrares the hell outta me. I just cant get used to them.

it's 2:30 in the morning. i have a stomach ache and i am sad.
i'm not looking for pity here, it's just the facts. i am lonely and frustrated with things right now. no real reason to be, i just am. sometimes it's like that.
i am going to breakfast in the morning alone. i need to have some time to think. i need the...

I'm sorry to hear that
I'm confused, wasn't there mention of a special guy in your life?
Hey, I took your advice. I'm now trying this new product at the pharmacy. It's extract of Echinacea, and apparently you dilute 20 drops in a glass of water and repeat every hour the first day, then 3 times a day for a week or more depending. I avoid things like Ibuprofen if I can. I have an aromatherapy kit with Oleum Basileum in it. It's a mixture of six oils including Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Wintergreen. My whole room smells like Vicks Vaporub!
Hope you feel better soon sweety! I'm looking forward to your eMail

Woohoo for DSL!
You know I was in Minneapolis for a day 3 years ago. Near the University district. Me and my parents, we had a dinner at what the Lonely Planet guidebook said ws the best seafood restaurant in town. I don't remember the name but it had a nautical interior design style with portholes in the doors and stuff. It was by the river in a red brick building and you went through a sort of industrial area by car to get there. Perhaps you know which one I talk about?

I look forward to that eMail.
Unfortunately I don't think Linda will ever consider me that way. Or if she does, it'll be too late when she decides she's ready to be in a relationship again. I will have moved to England.

Welcome back! I'm glad everything's going well.

Yep, dial up sucks...well, anything computer or communication related sucks once you've tasted speed.
Wow, congrats on getting what you've worked hard for, I bet you deserve it too
Taoists? hmmm...
Personally, after having met Linda, I know what I want in a partner. I know I want her to be as unlike me as possible and that is...well...to be a bonafide witch.
Which Linda is.
Re: Picnic. I've been thinking about it really hard. I have a red wine sitting lonely and unsupped. It must complement what I make. I plan on surprising her with my industriousness and creativity to make it a really unique and wonderful picnic. You got suggestions? I'm thinking some fish dish that can be enjoyed even when cold on homemade bread. Plaice or flatfish would be good. Thinking a carrot bread. pan-fried eggplant salad of some sort. With a peanut sauce. Desert? Banana dumplings with Golden Syrup. But I don't have a deep fryer
But maybe i can try some sort of raising flour and oven-bake the banana dumplings....hmmm....
man I'm salivating...
I am currently very curious about magic because Linda does it. She doesn't follow a system, though she'll read textbooks and consider other systems, she's essentially born to it. Breathes like like Johnny B Goode breathes guitar. If you had to label it, it's sort of Wiccan, sort of Earth, little bit of Goddess and lots of herbal work. She does some benign blood magic (used it on her hand-carved wand) and I know she's done sex magick even though she hasn't told me outright.
Personally, I'm planning to get into the Alexander Technique. Not magic at all. More a scientific yoga cum NLP program. I'm interested in exercises for the mind and spirit that help one cope with the world without and the..well...self-hate and lack of self-faith I must overcome within.
Actually, that's a lie, upon sincere requestRadioBastet has sent me three spells that are for me to begin making some important steps for self-transformation. The main one, a very very heavy one involves Kali and I'll be asking for assistance on that one. The other two are a self-blessing and one to help self-worth. Say Hi. Tell her vastad sent you, she's really very cool and wonderful.
I would like frankly to listen to you if you don't mind sharing your experiences.
Perhaps the posts are too open, feel free to use my 'contact' button to send me an eMail and I can then send one back so you can get my eMail address. How's that?
...boy...I think you got plenty special there.
