I don't think I care less the older I get. I thnk I just am more careful about what I am willing to spend so much energy on. Caring is hard work and doesn't always work out well when you do. Tread carefully when you choose to care for something or someone. You don't want to get caught with yourself too exposed. That is my motto.

my littlest boy is very sick. he has what is called Henoch-Schoenlein Purpura. it's sort of rare, 14 in 100,000. anyway, they have him on prednisone. i am weary of steroids. i have had adults who have taken it tell me they would rather be admitted to the hospital before taking it again. he spent all day yesterday being sick. it makes me cry.

Glad you had a good weekend! My Saturday was similar in the sense of going to the CC breakfast (where was you?), and then going home to nap the afternoon away. I get up at 6pm, do a little dilly-dallying, and go pick up El_Dorado and head to a friend's birthday party, and then RJD2 at the T-Rock.
I love being up late at night. That kind of solitude is usually very soothing.
