my dear friend scott has had a horrible car accident. he's alivet but messed up. he wants me to come see him. he's hit rock bottom but i swear i have never heard him sound better. something in his voice just radiates health. for the first time since i have known him. he's in a recovery house in south carolina and i think this may be exactly what he needed. ever since i have known scott he has had varying degrees of sobriety, always relapsing and destroying the life he has and the lives around him and then simply disappearing. i pray this time is the last time for him. scott and i have been through a lot in our relationship but we have always pulled through and i love the man dearly. this has been exremely difficult for me as some of you may know. i am a child of an alcoholic family, i have seen this all before.
at any rate, i will go to him, that's what friends are for. i want to see him in the flesh, in one piece, for my own piece of mind. losing friends to death is something i am all too familiar with, i'm glad this time was different.
anyhow...
i am off to build a set for the ordway and no it is not christina applegate's "sweet charity". hope you all have an amazing day.
